Shifts: Primarily Monday - Friday Days, Potential Evenings, Weekends
Rate of pay:$23.78 - $24.75

Oncology Clinic is currently seeking a Temporary Part Time Clerk III to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clerical functions of Health Records includes, but not limited to:
-processing patient charts
-purge inactive charts
-filing and retrieving charts
-filing and numbering late reports
-answering phones
-communication with Doctors regarding chart completion
-good communication with Health Record technicians and clinic

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Post-secondary education in medical terminology or health information or equivalent required; knowledge gained through past experience.
-Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Health Records environment preferred.
-Qualified applicants must possess word processing computer experience in a hospital information system.
-Previous experience using Meditech and MOSAIQ is preferred.
-Demonstrated accurate filing and typing skills with typing speed of at least 40 w.p.m. is required.
-Medical terminology and accurate spelling is required, with thorough attention to detail.
-You must be able to work independently in a busy environment with good public relations skills while maintaining patient confidentiality.
-Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and work independently is essential.
-Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality and performance.
