Shifts: ALL (Days/Evenings/Nights/Weekends/Extended Tours)
Rate of Pay:$28.74 - $30.19

The Complex Care unit is currently seeking a regular part-time (0.5 FTE) RPN to join their team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Certificate of Competence in the Province of Ontario is required.
- Current BCLS.
- Min 2 years of experience in Rehabilitation and Geriatric Nursing required.
- Training in FIMĀ® instrument (Functional Independence Measure Instrument) preferred
- Must demonstrate satisfactory performance of the following RPN skills:
- Aseptic Technique
- Discontinuing IV's and Recording Amount Absorbed
- Urinary Catherization
- Manual Irrigation of a Urinary Catheter
- Oxygen Delivery
- Oropharyngeal/Nasopharyngeal/Tracheotomy Suctioning
- Active and Passive Exercises
- Use of Hearing Aids
- Insertion of Rectal Suppositories
- Health Assessment of the Geriatric Patient
- Medication Administration Course for RPN
- Demonstrates critical- thinking and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated effective documentation skills
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality, availability and performance required
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and patient safety, considers safety of self and co-workers
